In terms of my original idea of arts entrepreneurship my ideas did not necessarily change, but rather expanded through this process of creating No Vacancy. Having gotten a physical hands-on experience of seeing all the moving parts and what it takes to create an event has been truly eye opening. It also has shown me how innovative and creative one must be to be an entrepreneur that has the ability to face difficult decisions and compromises. There were so many road blocks that we needed to traverse in order to get to our end goal. I think that arts entrepreneurship is a creative vehicle to bring creative capital to the public as well as a way for artists to innovate within many other facets besides their creative work.
